GIMP 2.8 Random Multicolour Bokeh Brush

GIMP 2.8 Random Multicolour Bokeh Brush, with brush dynamics and preset. This is an automatic brush - simply select the brush preset and paint with it. The random sizes, colours and blurring will be applied automatically. If you hold down you mouse as you drag your brush, the bokeh will be sprayed randomly. This brush works best on dark backgrounds.

How to install the Random Multicolour Bokeh Brush in GIMP 2.8

Note: The dynamics, and presets for this brush will only work in GIMP 2.8


1. Copy and paste the bokeh2.gbr brush and put it into
your C:\Users\[Your User Name]\.gimp-2.8\brushes directory

2. Copy and paste the Random-Splatter.gdyn dynamics file
and put it into your
C:\Users\[Your User Name]\.gimp-2.8\dynamics directory

3. Copy and paste the Random-Multicolour-Bokeh.gtp presets file
and put it into your
C:\Users\[Your User Name]\.gimp-2.8\tool-presets directory

4. Quit GIMP and restart the application.


To use the brush do the following:

1. Select the brush tool in the tool box

2. Click on the Restore Tool Presets icon at the bottom of the Tool
Options dialog. The Icon looks like a floppy disc with yellow arrow
inside.

3. Scroll up or down until you find the Random Multicolour Bokeh preset.

4. Select the preset

5. Start painting your new Random Multicolour Bokeh brush!!!

6. Increase or decrease the brush size as necessary using the size slider
in the tool options. Choose different colours by selecting a different
gradient in the Tool options under Dynamics Options.

7. To deselect the preset, choose another preset. The basic preset will
return the brush behaviour to a regular GIMP brush
